Wk 6-'18 "Believe"

“Accept as true; take to be true / be confident about something/

credit with veracity / follow a credo; have a faith; be a believer/

judge or regard; look upon; judge”

Pretty remarkable that all of these are usages and definitions of ‘believe.’

Haanel’s Lesson Seven challenges us to unite the qualities within ourselves that create our heart’s desire. Every lesson before this has led us to this moment.  In 7.-12. He loads up on us:

The law is that thought will manifest form, and only one who knows how to be the divine thinker of his own thoughts can ever take a Master’s place and speak with authority.” (italics mine)

This is my third time through Haanel and I never noticed this statement before.  It’s an example to me of how my consciousness opens to awareness at its own pace. Sort of like not expecting the inner folds of a blossom to unfurl before its outer ones.

So, we have several ways to array this manifestation process.

Mark J teaches Thought + Feeling + Belief = Action = Results

Haanel starts with Thought + Action = Materialization but then he throws into the Thought process Idealization, Visualization, Feeling, & Expectation. He follows up with Faith, Confidence & Concentration. For my part when he gets to Firm Demand and explains it as Will, I change Will to Choice since the concept of Free Will defies my experience. (If you think you have Free Will, then demonstrate it by levitating.) Not a big deal, just a personal preference.

Back to Belief; it has many usages, all of which are related.  Let’s look at Belief within the context of Manifestation per Haanel. “Accept as true.” Some say Acceptance is the first law of spirit. If we do not at least accept that Manifestation per Thought is true, then we are left outside of the ballpark, unable to play the game.

“Be confident about something.” The Blueprint builder that we recite each morning is all about Confidence.  Haanel teaches that it builds in us endurance and courage.  Fill up my cup, kind sir.

And finally “follow a credo; have a faith; be a believer” For this one we consult the Christian – Judeo Bible. In Hebrews 11 -1

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Well, folks, there is nothing new under the sun.  From the Blueprint Builder: “I cause others to believe (read ‘have faith’) in me because I believe in them and in myself.”

In the end, we are left to become “divine thinkers of our own thoughts” and to manifest our Definite Main Purpose through our Will/Choice.

Keep the Faith.
