Are You Fat
I don’t mean a little overweight, I mean roly-poly fat?
It’s not much fun is it? It’s harder to tie your shoes when you’re fat. It’s harder to buy clothes when you’re fat. Get out of a chair, out of the tub, fit into movie seats, airplane seats, classroom seats, all seats. Mirrors are not your friend.
It’s not much fun being fat, is it?
And I am not being very nice about it, am I? I’ve adopted a pretty harsh tone, I know. I used to be roly-poly fat and now I am not, so I know whereof I speak.
My purpose here is to challenge you out of your complacency. Your friends and family have given up on you. They don’t talk to you about it anymore and you stopped listening a long time ago. Good for you if you’re reading this now. This is the question: have you given up on yourself or are you still saying to yourself that the time will come when you will make the change?
For all of the physical, emotional and social misery you experience because you are obese, it is nothing compared to the storm of health problems waiting to let loose in your life. Re-read that statement.

Are you diabetic yet? Do you know to where that road leads? Have you seen the amputees, bound to spend their last days in wheel chairs, dependent on others to take care of them? What about the condition of your heart, or sleep apnea, vision problems yet, high blood pressure? The list goes on and on.
The time has come for you to quit making excuses for yourself, choose a weight loss program and stick to it.

Remember, the universe rewards action!
