This week we were instructed to choose previous lessons we wished to revisit. Here are some of Charles F. Haanel’s thoughts I picked out from “The Master Key System.”

Harmony in the world within means the ability to control our thoughts, and to determine for ourselves how any experience is to affect us. 1-10.

The world without reflects the circumstances and the conditions of the consciousness within. 1-12.

The world within is the cause, the world without the effect; to change the effect you must change the cause. 1-36.

It has been found that by plainly stating to the subconscious mind certain things to be accomplished, forces are set in operation that lead to the desired result. 2-20.

If we demand much, we shall receive the greater portion. The world is harsh only as we fail to assert ourselves. 3-17.

The result will be in exact proportion to the effort expended. … for the purpose of strengthening the will and realizing your power to accomplish: “I can be what I will to be.” 4-9.

Remember that the world within is controlled by the ‘I’ and that this ‘I’ is a part or one with the Infinite ‘I’ which is the Universal Energy or Spirit, usually called God. 4-15.

The Infinite is not bankrupt and we who are the representatives of Infinite power should not be bankrupts either, and if we wish to be of service to others we must have power and more power, but to get it we must give it; we must be of service. 4-20.

This is important work, and the higher, loftier, grander and more noble ideals which you can conceive, the more important the work will become. 4-24.

The Law of Attraction is bringing to us …the things we have created by our thought processes, whether consciously or unconsciously. 5-8.

We are each of us but the channel through which the Omnipotent power is being differentiated into form. Unless we give, the channel is obstructed and we can receive no more. The more we give, the more we get. 5-25.

Power is contingent upon a proper use of the power already in our possession …spiritual power. Take away the spirit and what is left? Nothing. 5-26.

Attention or concentration is probably; the most important essential in the development of mind culture…and is the highest personal accomplishment which can be acquired. 6-19.

Thought is the process by which we may absorb the Spirit of Power and hold the result in our inner consciousness until it becomes a part of our ordinary consciousness. 6-33.

Desire is largely subconscious. 17-8.

The subconscious mind may be aroused …by concentration. 17-9.

All mental discovery and attainment are the result of desire plus concentration. 17-15.

Concentration simply implies that consciousness can be focalised to the point where it becomes identified with the object of its attention. 17-21.

Always concentrate on the ideal as an already existing fact. 17-32

Think about it.
